Local Business Profile: Bubba Pizza

Vachik Shah knew he wanted to run his own business, so after researching a number of potential locations in Melbourne’s west, decided on Tarneit as the ideal location to jump head first into his first franchise, Bubba Pizza.

“What better place for a pizza and pasta take away shop than a suburb that is bustling with working families,” said Vachik.

“I’m always so busy with take away orders as people around here work a lot and don’t necessarily have time to cook by the time they get home,” he says.

Bubba Pizza has been in Tarneit for around twelve months and although it’s classified as a franchise, Vachik says it very much feels like a local business.

Vachik has lived in the booming area for close to a decade and praises it for its family friendly environment.

“I have two young children myself and it’s easy for them to make friends at school when there are so many children in the area. It’s a great area to live.”
